Containerised Pellet Plant Completed, Tested and Shipped

After 6 months of planning, building and testing, container plant finally arrived in Stellenbosch on a rainy Friday. All in one piece. Ready for field testing.

The fully containerised pellet plant has been designed specifically for field implementation.

Next step is field testing. We have a site on the Breede River Flood Plains where clearing has taken place and firewood has been extracted. Our task is to clear the waste and convert it into pellets. This wood has no value in its current form and is a danger if left in the field.

During the field testing, the site will be the subject of a field visit by attendees at the Fynbos Forum. We hope too highlight both the environmental benefits of processing aliens as well as the huge benefits of making affordable biomass fuel for the informal settlements around Cape Town.
